The win puts the Seahawks at 17-9 and 7-1, and in sole possession of first in the conference going into the end of the regular season.
Conference tournament play begins Tuesday, May 8.
Shores’ Jordan Sergent dominated the Chargers, allowing four hits in seven innings. He struck out six, hit one batter and faced only 25 hitters.
In the other meeting with IWA earlier this season, Sergent pitched six innings, allowed six hits and an earned run, striking out 11.
