The Nottoway River at Sebrell is under a flood warning until further notice.
The river has experienced minor flooding and was expected to crest at 18.7 feet Thursday evening. At 7 p.m. Tuesday it was at 18.39 feet. Flood stage is 16 feet.
The National Weather Service warned that Hancock Peanut Mill in Courtland will be affected once the waters reach 18.5 feet.
Meanwhile, the Blackwater River crested Monday night at 13.17 and caused minor flooding.
When that river reaches 12.5 feet, a portion of Virginia Route 611, Joyners Bridge Road, becomes inundated. The road connects Southampton and Isle of Wight counties just north of Franklin.
Today is expected to be windy and partly cloudy, but the rest of the week calls for sun and temperatures in the mid 40s.
