Jamie Carr of Zuni and Stephen Pearce of Windsor are engaged.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donna and Robert C. Claud Jr. and Thomas Carr. She is the granddaughter of Ginger and Gordon Pittman and Shirley and Lawrence Carr of Zuni.
A 2007 graduate of Windsor High School, the future bride is studying business management at Christopher Newport University.
Her fiancé is the son Patricia and Stephen Pearce. His grandparents are Francis and William Pritchett of Smithfield and Jeanette and Robert Pearce of Chesapeake. A 2005 graduate of Windsor High School, he is employed Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding in Newport News.
The couple plans to wed in early 2012.
