BRIDGEWATER, Va.—Southampton Academy graduate Caleb Pearson scored 11 points during Randolph College’s Thursday night 74-73 win against Bridgewater College.

A 5-foot-10 senior guard, Pearson made 4-of-5 free throws during the Old Dominion Athletic Conference season opener.

Randolph junior post Derrick Woods-Morrow sank the game-winning free throw with under 10 seconds to play for the win.

Both teams grabbed 32 rebounds, while also deadlocking with 13 turnovers each.
