SUFFOLK—Willie May Umphlett, 72, died Dec. 7, 2010, at her residence in Suffolk.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at James River Community Church, Suffolk.

Mrs. Umphlett was a native of Franklin.

Survivors include three daughters, one son, four sisters, including Lois Marshall of Windsor, and one brother.

R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
