Roosevelt Harmon Jr. went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 11, 2010. He was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Roosevelt Harmon Sr. and the late Rosa Lyla Watson-Harmon.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melba Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Harris Harmon; his sons, Christopher Harmon, Jake Harmon (Karen), Masco Barrett (Tangie), Myroen Barrett (Shanquea) and Alvin Nichols; his daughters, Rose Davis, Lee Harmon, Louise Harmon, Leslie Davis (Keith) and Merita Frazier (Holise); one sister, Essie DeLiar; two brothers, James Harmon and Danny Harmon; one Aunt, Shirley Mae Shuler and one mother-in-law, Lessie Harris.

A funeral will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010, at 1:00 pm in Engram Funeral home, 1001 Armory Drive, Franklin, Virginia, by Pastor Dr. Peggy Scott. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, Franklin Virginia.
