SUFFOLK—Marion “Nanny” Virginia Adams Tomlin, 87, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Interment will follow at Holland Cemetery.

Mrs. Tomlin worked in the lunchroom at Holland Elementary School for more than 30 years

She is survived by her children James Linda Tomlin of Suffolk and Betty Cherry of Roanoke.
