Former Western Tidewater resident Steven Ridley, 35, died Saturday, June 16, 2012.

A service will be held 1 p.m. today, June 22, at Apostolic Faith Church Of God.

Mr. Ridley attended elementary school in Courtland and served in the Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Parsons Ridley; children Joshua and Jordan Ridley; and mother, Eunice Ridley.
