NORFOLK—James Robert Hunt, 80, died Jan. 6 at his residence.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors was in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Hunt was retired after 20 years in the Navy as a chief machinist mate.

Among survivors are two daughters, including Margaret Etheridge of Boykins; three sons, including Daniel Hunt of Franklin; and one brother.
