CARY, N.C.—Erma Rebecca Harcum Thompson, 93, died Jan. 13, 2011, in Cary.

Funeral services were held Monday at Port Norfolk Baptist Church in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Thompson was a native of Southampton County.

Survivors include her son, Robert E. Thompson, and daughter, Rebecca T. Chapman.

Apex Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
