To the Editor:
I am a Boy Scout in Troop 125 in Hunterdale. My mom read the article “Fix Route 58 problem now” (Sunday, Jan. 16) by Tony Clark to me.
I was surprised to hear how many vehicles — 20,000 in 2009 — travel on Route 58 between Courtland and Franklin.
Since there are so many accidents on the one-mile length of road between the traffic lights where Courtland Food Lion is located and so many businesses being built, I agree with Mr. Clark that the speed limit should be reduced to 45 mph on this length of road.
