To the Editor:

We would like to thank participants who gave their time and money donating to the bike and toy drive.

To the businesses that were so kind as to be drop-off points for merchandise, we thank you for such a great success. They include BB&T in Newsoms, BSV in Boykins, Meherrin Elementary, Riverdale Elementary, Southampton High, Curves, and Food Lions in Courtland and Franklin.

I would also like to give a big thank-you to Gwen Albers, of The Tidewater News for covering all our stories.

We look forward to another great year of giving.
