FRANKLIN—John Carrington Harding, 94, passed away August 5, 2012, in Courtland.

He was the widower of Theresa Worrell Harding and the son of the late Albert M. and Elizabeth C. Harding.

John was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Adult Men’s Class.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He was a retired Civil Servant in the entomologist field.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Bobby and Kay Fowler of Franklin, and Allen and Melinda Worrell of Courtland.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, by the Rev. Dr. Richard Peerey with burial following at Holly Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
