COURTLAND—Southampton High School boys will host Powhatan at 7:30 tonight, Feb. 14, for the opening of the Southside District Tournament.

The Indians defeated Greensville 53-36 on Friday night to close out the regular season with a 15-4 record. Southampton went 10-4 in the district for a second-place finish out of eight schools. The Indians have won 13 games in a row.

Assuming Southampton wins tonight, the boys will play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday against either No. 3 seeded Parkview of No. 6 seeded Nottoway.
