CARRSVILLE—A Carrsville man with Alzheimer’s disease was found at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after disappearing from his Hunt Club Road home 11 hours earlier, the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bobby Tyree, 78, was found safe at the Holiday Food Store on 201 E. 2nd Ave. in Franklin. Friends of the family spotted him there.

It appears Tyree went for a drive in his truck and returned to the area sometime this morning, the sheriff’s office said.
