WAKEFIELD—Tidewater Academy on Tuesday beat host Amelia Academy 3-0 to remain undefeated in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.

Set scores were 25-23, 25-20, 26-24.

The Lady Warriors improved to 9-0 in the VCC and 11-2 overall.

Tidewater senior Cary Beahm had 12 kills and 5 aces. Classmate Tyler Stephenson had 13 assists. Sophomore Taylor Pruit had 4 aces and 14 digs.

“Senior leadership continues to provide solid play,” said Tidewater Academy Volleyball Coach Jimmy Dunn. “This was the first of several away games, one of toughest stretches of the season,”

The next game is 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot.
