SUFFOLK—A Small Scale and Niche Market Pork Production Conference is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Tidewater Agricultural Research and Extension Center.

Small-scale and niche-market producers and people entering the industry are invited.

The Friday session will focus on PQA-Plus training and certification. The Oct. 27 session will include marketing, feeding, reproduction and more. On-farm demonstrations at the center’s swine facilities will conclude the day.
