COURTLAND—Southampton High School goalie David Strozier made 20 saves on 27 shots during Monday’s 7-0 loss to Southside District opponent Nottoway.
“We came out flat and allowed two first half goals,” said Southampton Coach Scott Edwards.
In action from Friday, Strozier made 13 saves during the Indians’ 4-1 loss to Prince Edward.
“It was 0-0 at half,” Edwards said. “We gave up two penalty kick goals and a breakaway goal by Prince Edward before we scored on a penalty kick by Michael Hastings.”
