ISLE OF WIGHT—Host Isle of Wight Academy defeated Broadwater 45-35 on Friday.

Leading scorer for Isle of Wight was Gabriella Hooper with 25 points; she added 6 rebounds. Dianne Davis had 10 rebounds.

“We played our best defensive game of the year. Our effort on the defensive end of the court was exactly what we needed,” said IWA Coach Chris Hooper.

IWA will travel to Atlantic Shores for a 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, game.
