FRANKLIN—Southampton High School’s wrestling team defeated host Franklin 54-30 during the annual daytime game before the student body.

Students paid $2 to get out of class and watch the match. Proceeds paid the referees.

Winners for Franklin were sophomore Cheyenne Banks at 106 pounds, senior Xavier Freeman at 138 pounds, senior Nathan Jones at 160 pounds, junior Shane Walker at 170 pounds and sophomore Khiry Reese at 182 pounds. All won by 10.

Southampton did not provide results.
