CAPRON—Gloria Artis, 46, of Capron died Friday, May 20, 2011, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, May 26, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Newsoms with the Rev. Jeremiah Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hood’s Funeral Home in Conway, N.C.
