Nancy and Douglas Bell Sr. of Wilmington, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlyn “Taylor” Bell, to Charles “Robert” Duck, both of Greenville, N.C.

The bride-to-be is also the granddaughter of Frances Imboden and the late Dorothy Baird Clark, William Grimes Clark Jr. and Harry Bell.

She graduated from New Hanover High School in 2005 and studied political science with a minor in business at East Carolina University.

Her future husband is the son of Sharon Dunlow Duck-McClease and George “Jake” McClease Jr. of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and Charles Robert Duck Sr. of Franklin.

His grandparents are Dorothy A. Duck of Franklin, Pensacola McClease and George “Jake” McClease Sr. and the late Louise Dunlow, Junius “Buddy” Duck Sr. and Rufus E. Dunlow. The Dunlows were from Franklin.

The groom-to-be graduated from Manteo High School in 2000, and studied physical education at East Carolina University. He is employed by Pitt County Schools.

The couple plans to wed on April 18, 2013.
