FRANKLIN—Police are charging a Norfolk man, arrested Tuesday on Pretlow Street, with multiple felonies in relation to a November Virginia Beach home invasion.

It is alleged that Deron Anthony Snow shot a resident twice and has been on the run since the offense occurred. Due to the nature of the crime, he was considered armed and dangerous. Virginia Beach was holding numerous warrants for his arrest.

A joint investigation by Franklin Police, Virginia Beach Police, and F.B.I. Peninsula Safe Streets Task Force resulted in the arrest of Snow.

Snow 28, of 338 Fort Worth Avenue Apartment 1 in Norfolk, was arrested in Franklin at 971 Pretlow Street, said Franklin Police spokesman Lt. Tim Whitt.

Snow was located inside the home and taken into custody without incident.

He was released to the custody of the Virginia Beach Police Fugitive Apprehension Team.

“Anytime law enforcement offices can work together to take violent criminals off the street it is a win-win situation,” Whitt said.

Snow is charged with four counts armed robbery, four counts abduction, nine counts conspiracy, nine counts use of a firearm in commission of a felony, malicious wounding, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
