CARRSVILLE—Deacon John C. Bowers of Burdette Road, Carrsville, Va., departed this life on June 10, 2013. A homegoing service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, Chapel Grove U.C.C., 7366 West Blackwater Road, Windsor, VA, with Reverend J.J. Ferguson delivering the message of comfort; Dr. H. Caryle Church is pastor. The interment is in the church cemetery. Deacon Bowers’ remains will be placed in church for viewing by 11 a.m. A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M.
