WEST POINT—The Windsor Dukes opened on the road with a 55-0 loss to the West Point Pointers.

“They were a good football team,” Windsor Coach Chuck Parrish said. “We moved the ball offensively, we just hurt ourselves with mistakes. We had penalties, and we just missed assignments on defense.”

Parrish said it was mistakes that they could fix.

“We’ll watch the film. We’ll correct. We’ll go back to work on Monday,” Parrish said. “That’s what we know to do, and it is what we are going to do.”

The Dukes open up at home Sept. 6 against the Washington and Lee Eagles of Montross.
