FRANKLIN—A Franklin Public Works employee is in jail after being charged with sexual assault.

Kenith Nathaniel Babb, 46, 21459 Main St., Courtland, was charged with two counts of abduction by force and two counts of forcible sodomy.

Allegedly, Babb sexually assaulted the victim, a 47-year-old fellow public works employee, during work hours in the months of September and October 2013.

Babb was remanded to Western Tidewater Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond.
