David Carl King, age 71, of Elizabeth City North Carolina, passed away November 17, 2013. Born January 9, 1942 David was the son of Vivian (Buzhardt) King and James “Tully” King who both preceded him in death. His sister Patricia (King) Knight (Thomas Knight) also preceded him in death. David was a member of the Elizabeth City Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. David devoted his life to reaching out to others to help them find God. David is survived by his two daughters Lynnette (King) Swanson (Timothy Swanson) of Round Hill, VA and Kimberly King of Concord, CA; four grandchildren Davyd and Tyler Hamrick, Amanda and Breanna Swanson. He is also survived by his siblings Sandra Cielieska (Greg Cielieska), Frank King (Cicil King), Charles King (Phyllis King), James King and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday November 25th at 1:00 at the Elizabeth City Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
