SUFFOLK – Bertha Francis Vaughan, 95, passed away peacefully in her home on November 26, 2013.  She was the daughter of the late Joshua and Dona Francis.  She was predeceased by her husband W. Garland Vaughan.

Survivors include her daughters Beverly V. Holland of Suffolk, VA and Alice V. Bryson of Suffolk, VA; sister Margaret Drake of Lenoir, TN; grandchildren Jessica Miller and Joshua Russell, Robert Holland and Melissa Carr; and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 at Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, VA at 11:00AM by Dr. Thurman Hayes.

Memorial donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, or a Pet/ Horse rescue of your choice.

Family will receive friends at the residence of Alice Bryson.
