FRANKLIN—Two people got into a fight early Saturday morning at the Old Town Terrace Apartments on Bruce Street, and each pulled out a firearm and began shooting, said Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department.

When officers arrived, the suspects had already fled the area, Whitt said. It is unknown whether either suspect was struck during the gunfire. Officers collected several spent cartridge casings of different caliber from the parking lot.
