The Windsor High School Lady Dukes volleyball team improved their record to 7-1 as they easily took out the visiting Surry High School Lady Cougars 3–0. Playing on Monday at the Windsor gym, Stacey Griffith, head coach of the Lady Dukes, remarked after the game, “We played well, communicated well, served well, just played the game and got enough points and did what we had to do.”

In serving, during the third game Alaura Ellsworth and Ellie Wilkins both served 8 and 7 points straight respectfully as the Lady Dukes won that game 25-6. Game 1 was the best for the Lady Cougars, but they lost 25 -12. For game 2 the Dukes rolled with a 25-9 win.

“The match was a good practice for our upcoming game with Park View on Thursday,” Griffith said. “The only team that we have lost to is Park View.”

Presently the Lady Dukes are ranked No. 1 in the TriRivers district.
