WINDSOR
Despite winning the first quarter against the Park View High School Dragons, things didn’t get much better for the winless Windsor High School Dukes on Friday evening as they lost the TriRivers basketball match, 60-40. Keldon Johnson led the way for the Dragons with 29 points, including three 3-pointers and a 50 percent shooting percentage.

In the match, the Dukes died by the three-point basket, as they launched 17 of them and only made five. And despite the missing, they were only able to secure five offensive rebounds. The Dragons, on the other hand, had 12 offensive rebounds and 37 total boards.

Chris Funai led the Dukes in scoring with 11 points, making three shots from downtown, but he only shot 30 percent from there, missing seven. Funai also had two blocks. Bruce Bryant had eight points, and was 2-of-4 from beyond the arch. Malcolm “Woody” Greene led in rebounds with eight and he also had two blocks.

The Dukes (0-15) will travel today to face Brunswick (11-4).
