The Franklin High School VHSL 1A Conference 41 basketball game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. It will be in the Peggy Wilkins Gym in Franklin.

The Broncos, the No. 3 seed, will host the No. 6 seeded Chincoteague High School Ponies.

Franklin posted a season record of 8-11, compared to the Ponies 7-9 record. Chincoteague averages 56.6 points per game, and the Broncos 57.2. The teams did not face each other during the regular season.

The girls conference basketball game, meanwhile, will be at Sussex High School against the Lady Tigers on the same day at 6 p.m. The Lady Broncos suffered another winless season, which included two losses to Sussex Central, 43-22 on Dec. 10; and 45-18 on Jan. 16.

For both girls and boys Conference 41 basketball, the semi-finals are set for Feb. 26, and the finals are on Feb. 27.
