Southampton High School, which is not in session today, is canceling two events that were scheduled for Friday and Saturday, and they will announce makeup dates later.

The Career and Technology Education Business Social, formerly scheduled for Friday afternoon, will be made up later. Principal Allene Atkinson said if for whatever reason they are in school tomorrow, they would not be prepared for the event.

The Miss Southampton High School Pageant had been rescheduled for Saturday evening following last week’s bout with snow. It will be postponed again, following this week’s blanket of snow.

“We are going to try to get through the winter, and then try to reschedule,” Atkinson said.
