Potential small business owners can get a lesson in developing their goal with a free seminar this Thursday.

“How to Build Wealth on a Budget” will be presented by Drew Page, an attorney with Randall|Page in Courtland. The program takes place on April 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Franklin Business Incubator, and is hosted by the Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc.

“It’s important to know exactly where you can save,” said Page, who added that he’ll cover budget basics such as allocating money and checking on how you spent it month-to-month.

Being able to budget effectively can also help with low morale caused by not being able to pay bills. Helping people discover found money, he added, can raise spirits and relieve stress.

Saving versus spending, plus growing investments, can not only help your business, but also benefit Franklin and Southampton in the long run.
