Every two weeks, the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office releases its most wanted list, and one or two individuals who have outstanding warrants will be featured. With the help of The Tidewater News, one of the individuals featured in Wednesday’s paper turned themselves in that morning.

According to Major Gene Drewery, spokesman for the sheriff’s office, Quinton Myrick, 21, of Sedley surrendered to the sheriff’s office and was released by the magistrate on $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Southampton County General District Court on Tuesday, July 7, at 9:30 a.m.

Jennifer Turner, 22, of Mount Horeb Road, Franklin, is still sought by the sheriff’s office. She is wanted for obstruction of justice, assault on a family member, felony identity theft in North Carolina and failure to appear in court.

Those with information into the whereabouts of Turner are asked to contact the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office at 653-2100, or the Southampton County Crime Line at 653-2900.
