Investigators with the Virginia Lottery have determined that several winning tickets were redeemed at multiple convenience stores in the Richmond area that same morning. The total dollar amount of the redeemed tickets appears to be $476, according to Detective Camden Cobb.

“The vehicle seen on the store’s surveillance camera about an hour before the burglary is very similar to the vehicle driven by the unidentified black female when the winning tickets were redeemed,” Cobb said.

The burglary suspect was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras, but was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves that made him unrecognizable. Meanwhile, the black woman who redeemed the tickets can be seen in the photo provided.

Those with information about the burglary or the suspects are asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP, or the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office at 653-2100.
