MECHANICSVILLE — Clifford Wayne Garriss, 73, formerly of Margarettsville, North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord on August 20, 2015.

He is survived by his daughters, Joye Raikes (Steve) and Janine Clifford; grandsons, Tyler, Benjamin and Bryan; sister, Ann Woodard; brother, Stanley Garriss; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gone before him were parents, Roy and Hazel, and brother, Douglas.
Wayne’s greatest joys in life were his family, traveling and a great meal. He made many friends traveling the country in his RV since retiring from Union Camp, where he worked as an electrician for nearly 40 years. He will be missed by many.
His daughters would like to thank all those that loved and visited him over the past months. He treasured each and everyone.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will begin 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Margarettsville Baptist Church, 2687 Tower Road, Margarettsville, North Carolina.
