FRANKLIN
During the school board meeting on Thursday night, the board and Superintendent Dr. Willie Bell recognized the city council and City Manager Randy Martin for all of their support in the previous year by giving them a certificate.

School board chair Edna King said, “We are most appreciative for everything you’ve done, especially for signing the acquisition for QZAP [Qualified Zone Academy Bonds] funds. You all signing that meant so very much to us.”

She then thanked Martin, Mary Hilliard and Mona Murphy for being there and asked that they tell the rest of city council how much they appreciate them as well.

Superintendent Dr. Willie Bell gave out the certificates to those who were present.
