SALUDA—No. 3-seeded Windsor lost 12-0 to No. 2 Middlesex in the regional tournament at Middlesex High School on Wednesday.
The loss means an end to the Dukes’ season, who finished 15-4 and 8-0 in the Tri-Rivers District. Windsor also won the Tri-Rivers District Tournament.
“This was not a good game for Windsor baseball,” said coach Ronnie Harry. “We had around eight errors, and playing at this level, you won’t win a game making that many mistakes.”
“The best thing about this team is that we are young and hungry,” Harry added.
The team will lose two seniors.
“This was a very successful season and I’m looking forward to next year,” he said.
