PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors at its meeting on Thursday, July 21, 2016 will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of certain revisions to the Isle of Wight County Code related to dangerous and vicious dogs, as well as cruelty to animals. The purpose of this ordinance is to make technical amendments required to comply with state law. A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file in the Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the County Administrator, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and is available for public inspection.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his views with respect to, the proposed ordinance may appear before, and be heard by, the Board during the Public Hearing section of the meeting in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room, Isle of Wight County Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia. The public meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The County of Isle of Wight is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
