COURTLAND — On Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, our beloved Susie A. Worrell, 86, departed this world to go to her permanent home.

She was the oldest member of New Piney Grove Baptist Church in Newsoms.

Survivors include 10 children, Thelma Haskins, Comoria Sneed, Daphine Worrell, Elder Stanley Worrell and Elgin Worrell, all of Franklin; Dorothy Worrell of Los Angeles, California; Diane Worrell of New York; Clyde Worrell of North Carolina; Fannie Downing of Chesapeake; and Ella Sykes of Courtland; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at East End Apostolic Church on Monday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church.

A viewing of the body will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21, after 11 a.m. in Engram Funeral Home, Franklin.
