SEDLEY
Grace Memorial United Methodist Church’s women’s group is gearing up for Bazaar 2016. The United Methodist Women, or Grace’s Ladies, have been in planning mode for several months. Bazaar 2016 will be on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A homemade chili and baked potato (with fixings) luncheon will be served beginning at 11 a.m.
Grace’s Ladies Country Store and Bake Shop will feature homemade cakes, cookies, pies, jams, pickles, pimento cheese and barbeque sauce. The Gently Used Book/Puzzle Shop will be filled with recent novels, as well as some oldies. Shoppers may also visit the Holiday Shop, which will feature bottle lights, handmade jewelry and knit items. The Silent Auction will include several interesting items, such as an autographed Baltimore Oriole baseball and other sports items. For early holiday shoppers, no bazaar would be complete without some vintage jewelry.
Tickets for the chili/baked potato luncheon may be purchased for $7 from any UMW member or at the door as long as supplies last. Tickets are not required for those who wish only to visit our shops.
All proceeds from Bazaar 2016 will be used for mission projects around the community, the state and in foreign lands.
