To the Editor:

There will be a Red Cross blood drive in the Franklin Baptist Church fellowship hall on Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcomed; you will be worked in with those having appointments.

This is the first of six blood drives to be held by the Red Cross at Franklin Baptist Church during the year. They will be held bi-monthly on odd months on the second Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

There have to be 56 days between donations, so this makes it easy for donors to get on a regular schedule. You will be given a chance to make an appointment for the next drive when you donate.

Walk-ins are always welcome, though.
