As the week progresses, Western Tidewater is forecast to experience gradual warming temperatures and possibly rain, according to the National Weather Service in Wakefield. That will help to melt the snow, which accumulated in a range from 6 to 8 inches, the heaviest reported in northern Isle of Wight County.
While the sky is obviously sunny today, the temperatures will only be in the mid-20s and winds 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph. Wind chill values could make temperatures feel as low as -1.

Partly sunny on Monday with highs in the low 30s and winds down to 5 mph. Becoming partly cloudy that night with lows around 20 degrees.
Partly sunny on Tuesday with temperatures going up to the lower 40s. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain that afternoon, and the chances going up to 30 percent by Wednesday, which will become mostly cloudy; highs around 50; lows in the 40s.
Partly cloudy on Thursday and Friday with highs in the lower 60s and lows in the lower 40s
On Saturday, partly sunny with the highs reaching the upper 60s.
