Man robbed at gunpoint at Park and Shop

FRANKLIN
Franklin police officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at Park and Shop, located at 700 South St., Franklin, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
When officers arrived at the scene at 12:16 a.m., the victim, a 30-year-old Capron man, reported that while he was putting gas in his vehicle, a silver Jeep Cherokee pulled up and three suspects wearing masks and brandishing guns accosted him. The alleged suspects robbed him of his wallet and his pistol, then fled. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
The Park and Shop business was closed at the time of the incident. The Franklin Police Department is asking anyone with information about this crime to call the department at 562-8575 or the Franklin Crime Solvers at 562-8599. Information that leads to an arrest can earn the caller a cash reward while remaining anonymous.
