FRANKLIN — William J. Ricks of Virginia Street passed away on Jan. 19, 2017, in his home.

The homegoing service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m., in First Baptist Church, 318 Hall St., with Elder James Banks Jr., delivering the message of comfort; the Rev. D.S. Riddick Jr. is the host pastor.

A service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 St. Main St.
