PUBLIC NOTICE

Opportunity Inc., on behalf of the Hampton Roads Workforce Development Board, is currently making the Draft Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 4-Year Strategic Workforce Development Plan available for public review and comment.  The new plan seeks to respond to the current and foreseen challenges faced by the local and regional workforce systems and provides a framework for policy direction over the next four year period.  In accordance with state planning guidance, the draft regional plan is now available for review and public input for a period of 30 days.  The draft plan can be found on the Opportunity Inc website (www.opp-inc.org) and written comments are welcomed and must be submitted via email to
