SUFFOLK — William “Bill” Denison Sr. left this world to join his beloved wife, Virginia “Ginny” Nell Denison, in heaven on April 29, 2017, in Sentara Obici Hospital.
Born in Connecticut, he was a son of the late Paul L. Denison and Charlotte G. Greene.
Bill was a retired longshoreman with ILA local 970 and a former Air Dale in the United States Navy. He had a love of boating, woodworking and ran Cypress Springs Farm OEE with his wife Ginny.
Survivors include his loving son, Bill Denison Jr. (Dory); daughters, Dena (Turan) Tezel, Tracie (Kevin) Felgentreu; grandchildren, Alexandra (Jason) Stoermann, Yasemin Tezel, Robi Erman (Chris), Alyssa and Aaron Felgentreu; two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Emmy; a sister, Barbara Denison; and brothers, Paul Denison and Walter Steen.
The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, in R.W Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. Suffolk.
