Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, to consider for recommendation to the Board of Supervisors the following applications:

An Ordinance to Amend and Reenact the Isle of Wight County Code by Amending and Reenacting the Following Articles of Appendix B-1, Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Ordinance: Article IV, Performance Standards and Development Criteria; Section 4002, Performance Standards in Resource Protection Areas, and Section 4003, Water Quality Impact Assessment; in order to provide for an administrative review process for principal structures and necessary utilities on lots created before October 1, 1989 as well as for lots recorded between October 1, 1989, and March 1, 2002, as permitted by state regulations.

 

The application of Tidewater Custom Modular Homes, Inc. (John Glover), applicant, and Clarice J. Chapman, owner, for conditional zoning of 1.00 acres of land located at 22080 Brewer’s Neck Boulevard, on the property with Tax Parcel Identification Number 33-01-195B, in the Carrollton Election District. The purpose of the application is to change the zoning classification from Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) to Conditional General Commercial (C-GC).

 

Copies of said applications are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and are available for public examination.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to said applications may appear before and be heard by said Planning Commission during the Public Hearing to be held in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
