In accordance with Federal Law 24 CFR, Part 85 and the Virginia Public Procurement Act, the City is soliciting qualifications from firms interested in providing on-call general planning, grant writing and project management assistance services to be utilized for one (1) year with the option to renew annually for four (4) subsequent years to a total maximum of five (5) years.  The City reserves the right to make formal solicitations for general planning, grant writing and grant management services on an annual basis.  The initial year is anticipated to be July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018 with options to extend or request qualifications each year for four (4) subsequent years.

 

Copies of the specific RFQ may be obtained from Mr. Donald Goodwin, Director of Community Development, 207 West Second Avenue, Franklin, Virginia 23851; (757) 562-8681 or through electronic mail at dgoodwin@franklinva.com.  Three (3) copies of the proposal shall be submitted on or before 3:00 p.m., June 20, 2017, and marked “Proposal for General Planning Services.”  Proposals received by telephone, facsimile, email, or after stated time and/or date will be considered non-responsive and not accepted.
